I’ll never be too proud to admit when I’m wrong. We started planning Lori’s extended family session over a month ago. The week of her session we talked again to confirm all of her session details. We discussed a contingency location because of rain and confirmed the time.
Despite all this planning, I messed up her session time. Instead of showing up at 9:30, ready to shoot, as we had previously discussed, I left my house at 9:30 thinking I’d be early for my (what I remembered) 10:30 shoot.
I say this knowing it may paint me in a bad light. I know a lot of people wouldn’t publicly admit this kind of mistake. But I want you to know that I’m not perfect. I mix things up, I get overwhelmed and could definitely be more organized.
I’ll never promise to be perfect. But I will promise to be humble. I will promise to always grow from and try to right my mistakes. I promise to give you the best of me before, during and after your session.
Lori, thank you for choosing me to document this extended family session for you. I loved meeting your hilarious, beautiful family. Thank you for braving the cold and rain for your session. Lastly, thank you for showing me grace. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you all.
P.S. this barn loft session was absolutely beautiful fully equipped with a hay bale wall and chickens!
