My weekend was full of sessions with long time friends and I won’t even try to pretend that I didn't ABSOLUTELY love it!
If you haven't worked with me before, you may not know just how much I enjoy interacting with your kiddos. Getting down on their level, asking them questions, making them smile by making funny faces or laugh by my horrific singing.
I didn't get this way all on my own. Before I was a mom, I was an aunt. I love all of my nieces and nephews, biological or not. Audrey and I were friends LONG before kids were even on our radar and when she had Charlotte, I was ecstatic. (Charlotte now refers to me as "Aunt Jessie").
Our time together was filled with tossing leafs, exploring Saunders Springs (even playing in the water a bit), oh and lots of tickles and cuddles. I can't tell you how unbelievably good I feel to be able to share my love, passion, and skill with my friends and their beautiful children.
Audrey Meek, thank you for always being my friend (even when I'm distant and may not deserve you), for always believing in me and encouraging me to pursue my dreams, and for entrusting me with your memories.
